MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: King With Portsmouth Command. DESCRIPTION: His Majesty visits Portsmouth Command and whilst there he awards decorations to five brave men. SHOTLIST: The King arrives by car and tours a naval school where he goes into the class-rooms. The King visits the Marine barracks and presents the King’s prize to recruit FE Woods. The King visits the docks where he meets fishermen who are new minesweepers. He visits the Naval college where a demonstration of how quickly the men appear after an air raid is given. He decorates several men who rendered useless the magnetic mines.
