- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Viceroy’s Cup, 1940. DESCRIPTION: Lord and Lady Linlithgow drive down the Course, Ascot style, before the Viceroy’s Cup at Calcutta. SHOTLIST: The Viceregal procession winds its way down the course and included in it are, of course, Lord and Lady Linlithgow. In the paddock they are greeted by Sir John and Lady Herbert and are later joined under the tree by the Maharaja of Nepal. Shots of the race which is won by Finalist who is led in by his owner Mr Northmore. The cup is presented by the viceroy.
