MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Inside the Maginot Line. DESCRIPTION: Inside the Maginot Line with the French troops who man it. SHOTLIST: Cooks prepare the food and the soldiers eat it. In a blockhouse, a poilu checks the guns and ammunition. Watch On The Rhine - CARD 38401 Various shots of the casements on both banks of the river. A pet goat is kept and the soldier dig trenches and do their washing. On the German side an umbrella has been hung from a flag staff and on our side on effigy of Hitler has been erected. Bullet holes of Bosch activity with snipers.
