- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: University Boat Race, 1940. DESCRIPTION: The University Boat Race is rowed at Henley and Cambridge win by five lengths. SHOTLIST: The race is held at Henley and fairly large crowds turn out to watch the event. Various shots of the start and of the race from shore and following launch. Cambridge win easily. At the end were added two scenes (one in fast motion) of Sappers rowing collapsible boats in France.
