Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: George Formby With the BEF. DESCRIPTION: George Formby entertains the troops with ‘When I’m Cleaning Windows’ and ‘Sitting on a Mine in the Maginot Line’. SHOTLIST: George Formby gets thrown out of an estaminet but collects himself and sings "When I’m Cleaning Windows" to some troops. Later he gets arrested but again sings, this time its "Sitting on a Mine in the Maginot Line" and he renders it sitting on a lorry.
