Summary
British Premier MacMillan flies to Paris to smooth out Anglo-French differences over the supply of British and American arms to Tunis - which the French fear may find their way into the hands of the Algerian rebels. The King of Morocco offers to mediate between France and Algeria, but is turned down. Meanwhile tempers are still running high in the French capital.
