MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Aerial Attack on British Fleet. DESCRIPTION: The British Navy has been busy convoying troops for the Norwegian Campaign. It has come under attack from Nazi aircraft and this film was taken on one of our battleships. SHOTLIST: The story show HMAC "Ark Royal" & "Glorious" & Battle-cruiser "Repulse". 5 shots destroyers at sea. LS Aircraft carrier. GV carrier with another ship alongside. GV Gloster Gladiator takes off from Carrier. GV carrier. LS Gloster Gladiator landing on carrier. MS Captain on deck of battleship (x2). TS waves breaking over bow of ship. 2 shots gun barrels & rough sea. LS heaving sea with ship on horizon. 3 shots rough sea breaking on deck. MS signalling with lamp. LS Battle-cruiser "Repulse" framed in gun turret. GV carrier with ship line astern. GV Skua takes off from carrier. 3 shots spotters on deck watching for enemy planes. LAS British Bi-planes. 3 shots action stations as enemy plane spotted. 2 shots explosion in sea. MS anti-aircraft guns firing. LS German plane. GV Carrier. MS Anti-aircraft guns firing. LS Charges in sky. 3 shots explosions in sea. MS Gunner. MS guns firing. LS gun fired on aircraft carrier. Sequence Guns firing & shells falling. 2 shots looking out to sea with gun barrels in foreground. GV two sailors on deck. MS signalling with lamp.
