Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: BEF in Belgium. DESCRIPTION: The troops moving up, pass the lines of civilians fleeing from the Nazi invaders. SHOTLIST: The customs barriers rise and the mechanised units roll forward into Belgium. Tanks, Bren carriers and lorries move up. Wreckage strews the streets in some places, evidence that bombers have been feeling for the lines of troops. Pitiful streams of refugees file out of the towns as the British army moves up.
