Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: King With Fighter Command. DESCRIPTION: His Majesty visited several fighters stations of Southern Command and carried out investitures during his tour. SHOTLIST: The King decorates many airmen including Flt Lt RHA Lee and Flt Officer Blair, the former with the DSO & DFC and the latter with the DFC. Squadron Leader Kayll also receives two decorations. The King then inspects WAAF’s and talks with men about to go on a "show".
