Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Bombs on Mersa Matruh. DESCRIPTION: The first pictures of the desert war taken during a bombing raid on Mersa Matruh, Libya. SHOTLIST: A bomb explodes and several formations of bi-planes are seen overhead. Bodies are covered with clothes and a car is smashed. War correspondents are dug out from under the debris at the entrance to a dug-out. In the camp are many prisoners including a General.
