- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: WAAF and Miss Pearson. DESCRIPTION: The Women’s Auxiliary Air Force is the youngest of the womens services having been in existence since last summer. Assistant Section Officer Daphne Pearson is to receive the Empire Gallantry Medal. SHOTLIST: Shots of the WAAF marching with band. Girls working and having fire drill. Recruits join up and Miss Daphne Pearson describes their work. She has been awarded the EGM for rescuing a pilot.
