MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Aerial "Blitzkrieg" Starts (Britain’s Air Toll Nazi Blitz). DESCRIPTION: The wreckage of Nazi war planes litter our seashore, witness to the successes of our fighters and AA guns. SHOTLIST: German planes wheel around and bomb a lightship. Several balloons come crashing down in flames. Wreckage of German planes on the sea-shore and over the countryside. A plane falls into the water out of control and a Hurricane hovers above to make sure of the victory. German formations come over the AA batteries open up. Hurricanes take off to the attack. More German wrecks. Shots from this story were subsequently used in CARD 39590.
