Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Defence of Britain (Or Just Another Sortie). DESCRIPTION: Planes continue to repel the Nazi invaders. SHOTLIST: Officers confer and then lorries and motor-cycle troops rush off. Infantry advance over ground covered by smoke-screens and throw bombs. Bren carriers race up while a car blazes furiously. 4.5 artillery opens fire and a trip wire accounts for an enemy cyclist. Troops defend road blocks. Tank Destruction - CARD 39479 Planes wheel overhead as the tank comes to a stop at the barrier. "Molotov Cocktails" are thrown and soon the vehicle is blazing.
