MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: President Roosevelt See Sky Defence. DESCRIPTION: President Roosevelt inspects a plant in Maryland which makes planes for the US Navy. On another occasion he dedicated the new Washington National Airport. America is proud of its new "Bell" fighter. SHOTLIST: The President sees massed planes which fly past. Afterwards he speaks. The purpose of his visit is to open the airport which is at Washington. New Bell Plane - CARD 39870 Various shots of the new Bell plane. Takes off and flies. Aerial scenes.
