Summary
With a record breaking export boom assured this year, the British aircraft industry is certainly back in business - the spirit reflected in this year’s Farnborough Air Show. The best that Britain can put into the air attracts many overseas buyers who place large orders for the aircraft which have been designed to suit world needs. But for the ordinary men in the street Farnborough is still the greatest spectacle in flying.
