Summary
After the horror that thrust the small Welsh mining village of Aberfan into the world’s headlines came the day of the full realisation of the real tragedy. An entire generation was laid to rest in the hill-side cemetery overlooking the place that was their home. Well known actress Megs Jenkins describes the sorrow that is deepest set in Welsh hearts at the time when parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters said their last goodbyes to young loved ones.
