- Netherlanders rejoice, and they’ve cause to. For the first time in 116 years there’s a male heir to the Dutch throne. Mother Crown Princess Beatrix and father Prince Claus have named him Willem Alexander Claus George Ferdinand. He’ll be known as Prince Alexander.
