- West German Chancellor Dr Kurt Kiesinger flew into London for talks with Mr Wilson and Mr Brown. But even as he declared that West Germany was all for Britain entering the Common Market, President de Gaulle’s terms for our entry were revealed in Luxembourg. They were very tough.
