Summary
2,000 underprivileged and handicapped children had the night of their lives as guests of Billy Smart’s Circus at the annual children’s gala performance. For the kids who sat enthralled by the spectacle of the sawdust ring wonderland, it was an occasion so far removed from the reality of their sad little lives.
