- Summary
- Up the River Thames came representatives of the modern Danish Navy and a memory of the past, a Viking Longship. It was all part of the "Denmark in Britain" ‘68 event. At Battersea Park, the Danish Ambassador looked over the "At Home with the Danes" exhibition, and endorsing his nation’s trade and friendship bonds with Britain, came King Frederick to a big welcome at Liverpool Street Station.
