Summary
Britain got the Gold Standard with a tremendous world record shattering run by David Hemery in the 400 Metres Hurdles. Hemery proved he was the greatest when he won in an astonishing 48.1 seconds. A great performance too by Britain’s John Sherwood who claimed the Bronze Medal. This race is the highlight of Pathe’s Olympic report which includes other exciting moments of sporting history as it was made.
