Summary
The Jumbos are coming - and in a big way! London’s Heathrow Airport was the first international terminal to receive a fully loaded Boeing 747. It coped easily. Hundreds of pressmen and VIPs queued to file aboard for a see-for-themselves flip. The ‘plane, the forerunner of even bigger things to come, was, of course, an ENORMOUS success.
