- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Governor of Algeciras Visits HMS "Ark Royal". DESCRIPTION: Aircraft carriers have quickly proved their value in this war. The planes of the Fleet Air Arm carry out reconnaissance and torpedo-bombing. SHOTLIST: The Governor of Algeciras comes aboard "Ark Royal" to the pipes. He is presented to Officers of Ark Royal and then he, and his staff, together with the British Admirals inspect the ship, and its planes. Various shots of the group, also coming up the plane lift. Shot of Sir Clive Liddell leaving the Aircraft Carrier. Also shot of the Governor of Algeciras shaking hands with the Captain after the visit.
