MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: AIF Settle Down to Barrack Life. DESCRIPTION: Australian troops make themselves at home in a British Garrison town. They enjoy a chorus of the well known Australian song "Waltzing Matilda". SHOTLIST: Shots of the barracks and the Aussies eating. Shots of marching and tanks. One shot shows cruiser tanks passing a line of infantry and should be remembered. When off duty, the men sing "Waltzing Matilda" to the accompaniment of a banjo played by a gentleman with a voice like "Popeye".
