MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Allotment Easter. DESCRIPTION: The delights of the seaside were put aside this Bank Holiday in favour of work on the land. Everywhere available plots were being ploughed up and sown. SHOTLIST: Various shots of men working on their allotments and of open spaces being dug up for same. The location in one case is Hyde Park. Shots of motor plough at work. Mr Perrin and Paul Wyand have a humorous interlude as amateur gardeners. They throw refuse into each others gardens. Shot of Mr Perrin with a lawn mower.
