MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: London’s May 10th Blitz. DESCRIPTION: The Houses of Parliament were one of the casualties in London’s May 10th Blitz. Westminster Abbey also suffered in the conflagration. The RAF did magnificent work in destroying at least thirty-nine Nazi bombers. SHOTLIST: Shots of the Houses of Parliament. Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Westminster Hall all of which were damaged. Mix from ruined altar in the Abbey to the Coronation. Library shots of wrecked aircraft. Night shots showing blazing buildings also two excellent shots showing walls collapsing.
