- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Lord Louis Mountbatten. DESCRIPTION: At an American shipyard Lord Louis Mountbatten takes over command of HMS Illustrious. The aircraft carrier had been undergoing repairs after being bombed in the Mediterranean. SHOTLIST: Lord Louis Mountbatten together with Captain Seymour Tuck, boards the ship. A Guard of Honour presents arms on deck. The then inspects the sailors and the officers and chats with them. Shot of a cat in the arms of a sailor which he strokes; Good shot of the Ensign against the funnel. The ship is HMS "Illustrious".
