Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Christening New Bomber. DESCRIPTION: Lord and Lady Halifax inaugurate the bomber which bears their family name. SHOTLIST: Mr Handley Page makes a speech (cuts only) and then Lord Halifax makes a reply. Lady Halifax then makes a short speech and names the bomber, which is the new "Halifax" Bomber. The plane is then wheeled out of the hangar and is sent on a trial flight. Present at the ceremony was Colonel Moore-Brabazon.
