- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: General Cunningham and Gibouti Blockade. DESCRIPTION: General Cunningham visits posts of the East African forces which have been blockading French Somaliland. SHOTLIST: General Cunningham inspects troops including Free French Senegalese. A shot worth remembering is included, it consists of the Tricolour and the Cross of Lorraine being hoisted side by side. Two women and camel try to run blockade. The culprits are questioned. Shots of frontier with Union Jack flying (all very "Outposts of Empire" and will probably come in useful - should be remembered).
