- Summary
- Pathe synopsis: Food tasting is just one of the appetising and fascinating jobs carried out by scientists of the British Food Manufacturing Industries Association in Surrey. For even with the highly intricate analysis conducted on foodstuffs today, the human palate is still the most subtle instrument. Every year the research association receives more than 10,000 requests for help and advice, and their work even includes specific tests like measuring the foam potentiality of the white of eggs, the spreadaility of margarine and the stability of a jelly!
