- Pathe synopsis: The atmosphere is charged with the blended excitement and solemnity of a special occasion at Ferryfield Airport, where a group of Britain’s youngest ambassadors prepre to embark for France. The occasion is the introduction to French youngsters of an established British sport - motor racing, the soapbox way! The eleven lads chosen for this assignment come from all parts of the country - being the winners of various classes in the national SOAPBOX DERBY, organised by the Boy Scouts Association.
