Summary
Pathe synopsis: It has been said that art inspires art and in this instance it was a number of famous paintings by masters old and new which provided the well-known hair stylist Rene with the inspiration for this display of lovely hair fashions. Whether it be the English style of Gainsborough, the Spanish Velasquez, or the Oriental of the modern Japanese artist Foujita, Rene has recreated them with rare imagination, and he displays them with a fine sense of showmanship. [The show was staged staged in the O’Hana Galleries in Mayfair, London.]
