- Summary
- Pathe synopsis: Diamonds may be a girl’s best friend, but pity the wretched male who has to pay for them - particularly if he takes her to the International Watch and Jewellery Fair, where a wrist-watch could set him back £4,750. Many other works of the jeweller’s art are on show, including novel types of clocks - one worked by light passing through a photo-electric cell; another operated by atmospheric pressure.
