- Pathe synopsis: There have been many types of media used in painting, including ink, eggs, nail varnish, bitumen and even tobacco. Now we introduce one which really looks as if it has a future because of its remarkable 3-dimensional effect. With 16 basic colours to choose from, 80-year-old Miss Olive Harbutt, of Bathampton, Somerset, produces some plasticine masterpieces.
