- Pathe synopsis: Many of us leading humdrum lives often wish to break away and try something a little more daring - but not often as daring as waitress Maureen Daw, of Plymouth, who risks her life by sitting on the bonnet of a car being driven through a mound of blazing crates. An even more dangerous stunt misfires and Maureen leaves on a stretcher - but fortunately lives to tell the tale!
