Summary
Pathe synopsis: In London, white paint is unlikely to remain white for very long, particularly if it happens to be outside. The white flagpoles [on Selfridges department store], of which there is a veritable forest, soon get grimy and need a spring cleaning. The men chosen for this tricky and dangerous job are the steeplejacks - who earn every penny of their pay.
