SHOTLIST: [1st version]: Morocco. GV town of Fez. LS of the gateway into the town. MS section of the architecture of the gate. MS showing people walking along beside the city wall. MS in one of narrow streets showing people walking up and down. MNS showing people going through open gate into the town. MS young boy handing money to a little girl. MS in a narrow street we pan down to show people walking along carrying various parcels, also some donkeys. CU of a man with a pair of scales upon which appear to be onions. MS of a man washing his hands in the fountain. MS a pedlar serving customers. MS in the street showing a man galloping up it on a donkey, he goes out of picture. CU the drinking fountain showing a cup being filled, we pan up to show the man as he drinks the water. MS as he drinks the water. MS looking at the top storey of the hotel of Mosque, we pan down to show the courtyard in the centre of which is a fountain with various people walking to and fro. MS showing a native looking at some baskets. MS showing [her] trying on a cape, helped by her mother and a shop keeper, the shop keeper produces a fez, CU Gaye and shop keeper as he puts fez on her head, CU young girl in crowd looking on, she is carrying baby strapped to her back. CU another section of the crowd, CU Gaye and shop keeper. CU of barber woman veiled in the crowd. MS of a pitcher and urn shop. CU some of the pitchers. MS showing some western buckets and kettles hanging in front of a shop. We pan down to show people looking at them. CU some of these things including oil lanterns. MS showing two men looking at the kettles. MS in front of another showing men looking at buckets, one of the men holds a bucket in the air to see if there are any holes in it.
