- Summary
- Pathe synopsis: Foreigners used to say that it was our fault if the standards of British restaurants were low. If you accept bad cooking, they said, you encourage bad cooking. We’ve tended to heed their criticism and today cooking is firmly established as an art in this country. To show you the strides that have been made, we sought the services of an expert in his field - Charlie Drake. He kindly demonstrated the uses and abuses of the custard pie.
