- Summary
- Pathe synopsis: Every year there are more accidents in the building industry than there are on the lethal roads. Spidermen and others who work at the fantastic heights that today’s sky-piercing construction demands are particularly accident-prone. But now safety is the keynote - and a new safety device has recently been invented which should cut down the appalling accident rate. For the men who daily work hundreds of feet up it is - the safety block. Simple to use, it does not restrict movement - except that of plummeting earthwards. A slip - and a man is suspended until he can regain his foothold. It’s a big advance in safety - and one which we are proud to feature.
