Summary
Pathe synopsis: Jobbing contractor Tom Hancocks of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, invented a pair of motorised roller skates during the last war as a mode of transport for foot-weary soldiers. Like the army, we feel that the skates are only practical for peace-time use. It’s well known, you see, the armies march on their stomachs. Hey - come back Mr Hancocks. We didn’t mean it.
