Summary
NoS Summary - Members of the Thames Basin Archaeological Group s look for artifacts on the muddy shores of the Thames.
Researcher Comments
Commentary: The muddy beach of the River Thames is a favourite haunt for members of the Thames Basin Archaeological Group who search for relics of old London washed up by the tide. Common among the treasures found here are clay pipes that Raleigh might have smoked, Roman coins and trinkets of Queen Anne’s day. Here, in fact, is paradise for bright-eyed beachcombers.
