Summary
Pathe synopsis: If you thought the air base at Wethersfield was English, if you still believe we’ve only loaned this part of Essex to the Americans - then realise how wrong you are. Wethersfield is America. How else could it support a way of life that loves the chance to forget work in preference for a game of football. And by football, we mean football with a drawl. Never was war better disguised as sport. But cool English sanity regularly arrives in the shape of the Romford Boys Band who capture this fifty-first state with their stirring half-time display.
