MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Burma Oil Wells Destroyed Toungoo and Rangoon (Scorched Earth). DESCRIPTION: Troops falling back from Rangoon, Burma are carrying out a scorched earth policy. The machinery for drawing oil was smashed and the oil wells set ablaze. SHOTLIST: No Dope Available. Various scenes of Oil Wells burning. WO No B257/D. Details taken from story: Story starts with shots of machinery smashed etc., then shots of burning oil wells (in distance and medium shots). These are very good shots indeed.
