- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Russian Convoy. DESCRIPTION: A large convoy escorted by many warships, marks its way through to Russia. The great majority of the ships arrived at the destination in spite of all the torpedoes, mines and bombs. SHOTLIST: General shot of convoy at sea, same into camera. Ditto taken from several angles. Sailor standing on side of deck counting torpedo planes. Sailors rushing to ‘action stations’ MS of Cruiser showing heavy guns, anti-aircraft, & pom-poms. Men flinging off covers, taking aim, guns firing. CU pom-poms. Enemy planes (not distinguishable) flying through flak, just above sea level, tracer going up. Shot of sea showing enemy plane just visible dropping torpedo. GS of some ships on fire. LS shot of smoke pouring from ship. CU smoke.
