- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Sir W Beveridge Marries. DESCRIPTION: At Caxton Hall Sir William Beveridge marries Mrs Janet Mair. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Sir William & Lady Beveridge standing outside Caxton Hall. CU ditto. Lines of cars in roadway, the couple make their way between same, closely followed by cameramen. Entering churchyard of Christ’s Church, GS of ruins of Christ’s Church. Beveridges walk up to Beveridge’s Secretary whom they kiss. Shot of Beveridges leaving church. Lord Beveridge arriving for wedding, gets out of car. Couple walking from vestry to church (into camera) also walking round ruins of church, being congratulated by various people.
