Summary
[SUBTITLE]: "The answer to the first call to the colours under the Derby Scheme. Single men in the first four groups waiting at Whitehall to rejoin the Army." Group of young men laughing and holding papers outside the Army Recruiting Office in Whitehall. Men coming and going from the office. Men wearing armlets when they come out. They salute officers. Man shakes hands with a soldier and lights his cigarette. Others shake soldiers by the hand.
