- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Italians Repatriated From Ethiopia. DESCRIPTION: A convoy of ships carries fifteen thousand Italian prisoners of war back to Italy. SHOTLIST: Italian women, aged men & children being assisted by British troops into coaches & lorries. Convoy leaving; waving good-byes etc. Elevated shot of convoy along road leading to coast (Berbera). At Berbera Italians have to go through searching tent, all their cases are searched, much coffee, tea & other commodities found, British soldiers filling sacks with coffee & tea found in cases. Assisted by British soldiers & officers they board light to go out to three Italian ships lying off shore. GS of ships. GS of lighters making for ships; down companionway the Italian sailors are standing, at base of same are British military officers, MS of British officer handing baby to Italian sailor. GS of Italian climbing companion way. Ships leaving.
