- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Yanks Toughen Up. DESCRIPTION: American army "Rangers", the equivalent of our Commandos, are undergoing rigorous training. SHOTLIST: Cut story - CU angle shot of Rangers climbing over rope netting. Rangers camouflaged with foliage walk across fields into camera. Jumping over walls, with bayonets fixed & running same into model of Hitler, two Rangers wrestling (throwing one another about). Jumping out of windows doing neck rolls when landing on ground. Advance through streets, presumably mines exploding around them. At Fort Bragg NC they run vehicles onto piece of tarpaulin, so that it completely covers lorry, then float it across river, Yanks do same with artillery, Jeeps being taken across river on ropes, with under water explosions occurring as they cross.
