Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: U Boat Menace. DESCRIPTION: The Allies are winning the battle against the U-boat with the courageous action of merchantmen. SHOTLIST: GS of deck of American cutter, in heavy seas, sailor walking along deck (with a struggle). Sailor in crows nest. Crew run along deck, & picking up survivors from ship, several shots of survivors in sea, hanging onto rafts, climbing up side of ships. Rowboat picks up men. Signaller sends message with lamp. Depth charges being fired & pan with charges, explosions of depth charges. U Boat surfacing, the crew in rowboat pull away from submarine, submarine turns up on end & sinks.
