- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Russian Art in War. DESCRIPTION: An Art Exhibition in Moscow included cartoons ridiculing Nazi leaders. After two and a half years of war the Russians have been freeing one town after another, moving the Germans back towards the Polish frontier. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Interior shot of Russian Art Exhibition. Cartoons of Hitler, Goebbels, Goering, Hitler as Napoleon, also cartoon of German soldiers marching, which is followed by sign of the Swastika, eventually finishing up as Crosses on graves. Various cut-ins of Russian people laughing at same. On Russian front, troops advancing, also firing rockets. Firing tracers, advancing through streets, explosions & end of street, blowing up a house. POW being escorted across field. Russian women & children push barrow along roadway with their belongings on. Cut - Various shots of Cordell Hull addressing Congress, on the four-power Conference.
